Professionally…
I’m a freelance writer and online trainer. My ongoing mania for learning and writing led to a PhD in English and qualifications in Journalism, Research and Business. I write content for corporate websites and e-learning courses, and teach in the areas of Writing & Communications, Business, and Educational Design.
I’ve published several books and e-books, many magazine and online articles, and a few too many web pages to count.
Personally…
I live in the deep south of New Zealand with my historian husband and hilarious stepson. We love to go on family motorcycle trips through the rolling green countryside in search of glacial lakes, snow-capped mountains and micro-breweries.
When I’m not writing, renovating our 100 year-old house or wishing I had more time to read, I’m usually chatting with one of our five cats. I’ve published a couple of humor books about how cats think, and I’d adopt many more animals if I only had the time...
